The Cerro Coso Community College Foundation has received a $6,000 grant from Engility to support an ongoing scholarship at the college.
The Engility STEM Scholarship is awarded to encourage and support motivated CCCC students from the Ridgecrest and Online campuses majoring in any STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Business, Business Administration, and Computer Science) disciplines. Each year in May, a $1,000 scholarship—among the largest scholarships available at CCCC—will be awarded.
"The impact of scholarships goes well beyond just dollars and cents," said Cerro Coso President Jill Board. "A scholarship is something that students will always remember as the catalyst that put them on the path to a bright future. We are proud to join forces with Engility to make the dreams of a college education a reality for many worthy students."

All CCCC students majoring in the above mentioned disciplines are encouraged to apply for the scholarships. Students can apply via the general scholarship application available on the web at http://www.cerrocoso.edu/studentservices/financial-aid/scholarship-opportunities. A recipient will be chosen in early May after a committee review process.
