RAPE is just another word, unless it happens to your wife, your daughter, your sister, your mother, your aunt, your niece, your cousin, our best friend, YOU. Then it becomes PAIN you live with for the rest of your LIFE.
The Student Government of Cerro Coso Community College is sponsoring a Rape Prevention Workshop this Friday, November 1 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, to help raise public awareness and educate students and the community on how to prevent sexual violence.
Presented by the Women's Center-High Desert the workshop will be held in MB 350 and is open to the public. Admission is FREE.
Donations of body soap, shampoo and conditioner, canned goods, large diapers, and wipes for the local Women’s Center would be greatly appreciated.
