Cerro Coso Community College is offering a series of Community Education classes in Drama and Writing for ages 18 and older beginning October 21.

Acting for Adults will meet on Tuesdays, October 22 - November 26, 2013 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. For a fee of $35 students will learn acting skills and techniques, learn to memorize, strengthen their 'outside the box thinking', and work on scenes. Acting classes provide a great opportunity to build self-confidence, learn techniques for memorizing scripts and acting on stage, improve communication skills, and understand the role of an actor/actress.

Writers for Actors/Actors for Writers, Part II will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays, October 21 - December 11, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. The fee for this class is $65 and students will learn how to write storyboard scripts, memorize lines, film and edit scripts to be shown during the last class session, and technical collaboration on lighting and stage setting.

Both classes are open to the public and will be taught by expert instructor Elena Vitale.
