Women's Soccer has officially started their inaugural season

On Friday, Cerro Coso Women's Soccer traveled to LA Valley College to play their first game. Although the girls lost their season opener to a tough LA valley team the experience was phenomenal and the girls cannot be more excited for what is to come. The girls played a LA valley team with a full squad and found that the late start for our team contributed to the "growing pains" that we faced in playing a team with a full roster. The girls started the game well in keeping LA valley to 4 goals up until the 70th minute but fatigue become an issue and that score increased over the final few minutes. Either way, Coach Dickson is thrilled about the upcoming season and he thinks the girls will have "a season to remember." Good Luck girls! Women's Soccer travels to College of the Sequoias this weekend for the Visalia Tournament.
