Ridgecrest, California – Learn how digital photography works, the basics of exposure, how to transfer images to your computer and safely store them, and fun and easy ways to share them with your family and friends in a 5-hour community education class being offered by Cerro Coso Community College.
The first in a series of nine digital/video community education classes, Ridgecrest resident and professional photographer, Ray Hocker, will draw on his expertise to teach students how to get more out of their digital cameras or smartphones. The high megapixel cameras that are a part of many new smartphones and cameras have revolutionized photography. These \built in" cameras often exceed the resolution and quality of many point-and-shoot cameras. However, creating the best pictures from them can be both intimidate and challenging.
The course will meet on Monday and Wednesday, February 25 & 27, 2013 from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
For a $40 fee you can learn how to get the most from your digital photographs.
This class does not award college credit and is open to the public. The minimum age to participate is 12.
