The Cerro Coso Library is pleased to announce the addition of several new online resource options including Films on Demand, Gale Virtual Reference Library, an upgrade to Academic Search Complete, and the return of the Oxford English Dictionary Online.
The library is very excited to introduce the Cerro Coso community to Films on Demand. This resource features thousands of educational videos and clips covering a multitude of subject areas. Films on Demand videos and clips are a great way to enhance any course, but are especially great for online courses as the clips can be integrated into Moodle and other web learning systems and all videos and clips are close captioned.
The Gale Virtual Reference Library is a collection of reference eBooks that enhances the library's reference collection while also expanding the number and scope of available reference titles to distance and online students.
These additions provide valuable resources to all of our students, whether on-site, online, or at other campuses. These resources and more are available 24/7 through the library website using your student ID number.
