College Holds Commencement Exercise at Mammoth Campus

The Cerro Coso Community College, Eastern Sierra College Center (ESCC) held its 6th Annual Commencement Ceremony at the Mammoth Lakes Campus on Friday, May 7 at 5:30 p.m.

Commencement speakers included: President of Cerro Coso Community College, Dr. Mary Retterer; Director of ESCC and Mammoth Lakes Foundation Board Member Ex-Officio, Deanna Campbell; campus graduating student speakers,

Barbara Lieberman, Kristy Allred and Kelly Morning; Alumni Speaker, Mitch Pain; and Kern Community College District Trustee, Stuart Witt.

"This was the largest graduating class ever," stated Deanna Campbell, Director of the Easter Sierra College Center. Graduate receiving her Associate in Science in Administration in Justice: Marianne Schat. Associate in Arts in Business Administration: Jessica Moore and Nate Reade. Associate of Science in Child Development: Jessica Bacoch and Daya Sepsey. General Education: Kristy Allred, Coral Clay, Peter Duff, Mikayla Frigon, Carol Mason, Kelly Morning, Nicholas Rhoads, and Florene Trainor. Graduates receiving Associate in Science in Human Services: Barbara Lieberman. Graduates receiving their Associate in Liberal Arts-Humanities: Timothy Blackwell, Catherine Deprez, Kasey Morning, Kelly Ressel, Drew Sena, and Dawn True. Associate in Arts in Liberal Arts-Math/Sciences: Jesse Althaus, Connie Arechiga, Aaron Hampton, Chris Jared, Helen Nunn, Kevin Reynolds. Associate of Science in Paralegal Studies: Marianne Schat. Associate in Science in Vocational Nursing: Sylvia Green. 

Certificates of Achievement in Child Development Associate Teacher Award: Barbara Lieberman. Certificates of Achievement in Business Administration: Emmerson Rocheleau. Certificates of Achievement in Human Services: Kelli Brown.

The Felici Trio provided the music for Commencement and the reception that immediately followed the ceremony.
