College Offering Class in "The Home Inspection Process"

March 5, 2010

Cerro Coso Community College is offering a Community Education class on "The Home Inspection Process." This two session class will meet on Tuesday, May 4, 2010 and Thursday, May 6, 2010 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the East Wing of the College, Room 210. There is a $35.00 Community Education fee for this course and the minimum age is 16 years old. Class size is limited to 30. As home buyers and sellers, the students will learn what a professional home inspector will be looking at and why these areas of your home are important for the sale. This course will cover when to do-it-yourself or when to hire a professional for the issues found during an inspection. Questions on your own home are encouraged. Participants will learn how to inspect their own home to determine what maintenance is needed to keep it safe and healthy for their family. This course will be instructed by Suzette Caufield who has worked in the construction field since 1979. Her experience includes new construction, additions, remodels, maintenance and inspection of single family residences.

Registrations forms can be found at: http://www.cerrocoso.edu/communityed under the Indian Well Valley Campus.
