Community Education Class on Becoming a Mystery Shopper Offered

Cerro Coso Community College is offering a Community Education class on
"How to Become a Mystery Shopper and Other Fun Ways to Earn Money."
This class, instructed by Elaine Moran, will meet on Monday evening,
November 2, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. in the College's Learning
Resource Center, Room 604. There is a $59.00 Community Education fee
for this course which includes a $20 materials fee. Mystery shopping is a
splendid way to earn extra money and have fun at the same time.
Shoppers receive assignments from companies that do business evaluations.
An assignment might be to evaluate a restaurant, retail store, bank, gas
station, theater, etc. At the conclusion of the evaluation visit, the
mystery shopper completes and submits a report. This class will
present an overview of how mystery shopping works, what types of assessment
forms are used, do and don'ts of completing an assignment, how to get into
the shopper's network, and how to avoid scams. Other fun ways to earn
money will also be covered in this course. This class is limited to 30
students and the minimum age is 16 years.
