Cerro Coso to Host Video Game Tournament

Cerro Coso Community College will host its first ever video game tournament on April 25 in the College Library. The Call of Duty 4 Tournament set up will commence at 11 a.m. with the Tournament starting at 1:30 p.m. All proceeds go to support the Associated Student Body of Cerro Coso. "We here at Cerro Coso strive to uphold the highest standard of excellence, constantly mindful of promoting classes and a learning environment for the students," stated Dylan Mattina, Director of Information Technology, Distance Education & Learning Support Services. One of the ways of doing this is to host the first of many video game tournaments. Entry fee is only $10 in advance and $20 at the door the day of the event. Participants can pay online through PayPal through the Cerro Coso website www.cerrcoso.edu. The public is cordially invited to participate and have a chance to win some great prizes.
