Nutrition Class Offered at Cerro Coso This Spring

January 17, 2008

How much do you think about what goes into your body? Are you concerned about today's food supply, your nutritional needs? This class will help separate fact from myth about food and how food "fuels" your body. Enroll now for Cerro Coso's 3-unit Nutrition course to be offered spring beginning January 22.

Nutrition, FACE C121, will help students develop an understanding of the principles of human nutrition and current world nutrition problems. Recent developments in nutrition, food fads and fallacies, and informational nutritional resources will be addressed.

This class is taught by Debra Plewinski and meets via interactive television at both Bishop (CRN:30208) & Mammoth (CRN:30698) campuses Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:30 to 10:55 a.m.

The spring semester begins January 22, however late registration will continue until January 28. For more information, or to register, please visit the Bishop or Mammoth campus, or call Cerro Coso Community College at (760) 872-1565 (Bishop) or (760) 934 2875 (Mammoth), or register via the College website, www.cerrocoso.edu.
