Personal Finance Course Offered for Spring

Help yourself and your family. This spring semester Cerro Coso Community College will offer BSAD 110 – Introduction to Personal Finance at both the Bishop and Mammoth campuses.
The course introduces students to the principles of personal financial management. Topics include budgeting, the tax structure, consumer credit, insurance and retirement, buying decisions, and savings and investment.

In this course, students will learn how to answer the following questions:
- How much insurance do you need?
- How do you prepare your taxes?
- Should you rent, lease, or buy?
- How much money do you need for retirement?
- What is the time value of money?
- What are your credit and consumer rights?
This 3 unit course is taught by Professor of Business and Information
Technology, Matt Hightower, and meets via interactive television at both
campuses on Mondays and Wednesdays from 11:30-12:55. A great way to spend
your lunch hour!!
Its not too late to register for this class or other classes offered this
spring at both the Bishop and Mammoth campuses of Cerro Coso Community
College. Late registration is being conducted January 22-26. Just stop by
the campus and register today!
