Ridgecrest Campus to Host 26th Annual College & University Night
October 2, 2006
The Cerro Coso Community College, Ridgecrest Campus will hold their 26th Annual College and University Night on Thursday, October 12, 2006 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the College Student Center located on the first floor of the main building.
Current college and high school students, along with members of the
community, are invited to meet representatives from selected University of
California and California State University campuses, as well as
private/independent colleges and university, military services, and Cerro
Coso programs.
Some of the schools attending this year are:
- Alliant International
- Azusa Pacific
- California Baptist
- Fresno Pacific
- La Sierra, University of LaVerne
- CSU Bakersfield
- CSU San Bernardino
- UC Irvine
- UC Riverside
- UC Santa Barbara
According to Ms. Heather Ostash, Counseling Coordinator for Cerro Coso, "This event helps students make choices about where it is best for them to continue their education; it is an integral part of our Transfer Program."
