Cerro Coso Offers Fall Registration & Placement Exams
Edwards AFB, CA – June 15, 2006
The Cerro Coso Community College Fall semester begins August 28, 2006. In
preparation, Cerro Coso will be giving placement exams for the Fall term.
The placement exam is free and measures writing, reading and math skills. It
is suggest that prospective students with no prior college level English and
math take this exam. The placement exam assists students in choosing the
appropriate course levels and directs them toward their education and career
goals. Space is limited so please call the Cerro Coso office at 258-8644 for
the exam schedule.
Cerro Coso at Edwards AFB is now offering eight week classes and
registration is ongoing for the fall semester. The first eight week classes
will begin the week of August 29th and end October 19th. The second set of
eight week classes begin October 23rd and end December 14th. Active duty
military and their immediate family members are considered California
residents by Cerro Coso Community College and will pay $26.00 per unit for
