Cerro Coso Drama Department Presents the Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)

Ridgecrest, CA – April 26, 2005

The Cerro Coso Community College Drama Department will present The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) on Friday, May 6 and Saturday, May 7, 2005 at 7:30 pm and on Sunday, May 8, 2005 at 2:00 pm in the Cerro Coso Lecture Center.

The play was written and originally performed by Jess Borgeson, Adam Long, and Daniel Singer. The writers formed the infamous three-man troupe known as the Reduced Shakespeare Company. The play combines all of Shakespeare's plays into one fast-paced, madcap production that was originally performed by just the three writers. However, the Cerro Coso production will have a lot more than three performers.

Directed by Dr. Melinda Fogle, the Cerro Coso cast and crew include Megan Albright, Jacqueline Alexander, Richard Allen, Tricia Arnts, Cetra Banks, Laura Barbee, Mike Barbee, Jordain Belill, Megan Bracken, Ginny Charlon, Heather Cornett, Marcus Cowell, Marcia Didtler, Arico Evans, Sarah Garcia, Angé George, Brandy Greblowski, Josh Haefele, Levi Hand, Joshua Horton, Brandon Jackson, Sharon Justice, Cameron Kirby, Aaron Lembke-Bryan, Kristen Leveille, Savanah Liszka, Thomas Lowe, Sean Maloney Paul Mckenzie, Leanne Pearl, Chris Pololizio, Erin Ray, Rob Robinson, Alexis Smith, Rene Soto, Dianna Taylor, Brittany Throckmorton, Sarah Wilson, and Diana Woody.

Of the play, actress Brittany Throckmorton says, "It will bring a new light to Shakespeare and it will be fun and entertaining for all." Actress Brandy Greblowski adds, "You have to see a guy perform Juliet." This comedic production will take place in the Cerro Coso Lecture Center on May 6 and 7 at 7:30 pm and on May 8 at 2 pm. Tickets are available at Lou's Hallmark and at the Cerro Coso Business Office. General admission is $5 and students, seniors, and military get in for $4.
