Cerro Coso Community College Spring Classes in Mammoth

Mammoth, CA – April 17, 2003

Cerro Coso Community Summer 2003 semester of classes will begin on June 9, 2003. The College will be offering the following courses this Summer: BIOL C165 Natural History Studies-Eastern Sierra – this 0.50 unit field course is an overview of the geology, past and present climate, ecology, flora and fauna of the Sierra Nevada Mountains; BIOL C169 Natural History Studies-Mono Lake Basin - this 0.50 unit field course is a study in the Mono Basin National Forest Scenic Area and Mono Lake Tufa State Reserve of geology, past and present climate, ecology, flora and fauna; MUSC C031 Chamber Orchestra I - 1.00 unit course of preparation and performance of beginning level chamber orchestra works; MUSC C131 Orchestra I - this 0.50 unit courses of preparation and performance of standard orchestral works. On-campus registration will be held the week of June 2-5, on a first come first served basis. Students may also register online or by using the Coyote Connection Telephone Information System at (866) 215-1960 beginning on
May 14, 2003.

Cerro Coso Community College offices will be open Monday through Thursday, 8:00am to 6:00pm beginning May 19 and ending August 8, 2003. The college will be closed every Friday during the summer. Normal business hours will resume on Monday, August 11, 2003.
