Cerro Coso Community College and the Kern Valley Community Orchestra will present their Spring 2013 Concert featuring the Music of America on Sunday, May 19 at 4 p.m. at the Kernville Elementary School.
Conducted by Bruce Brady, the concert will feature American classics including: America, The Beautiful; the evolution of Dixie, a fantasia depicting the gradual evolution of Dixie; the Pink Panther; the Entertainer; from the New World excepts from movements 2 & 4 of Symphony No. 9, Opus 95; Battle Hymn of the Republic; Armed Forces Salute; and Liberty Bell March.
Come ready to celebrate and pay tribute to the Music of America.
The concert is sure to be fun for the whole family and the public is invited to attend for FREE.
Donations will be accepted at the door.
